Limited Demographic: writers who identify as immigrants or members of a diaspora in the broadest definition of the terms
Note: one piece of flash fiction and one short story per submission window. Note: translations have a maximum of 3500 words.
We are interested in fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and any genre in between or around it — as long as there’s a speculative element. In particular, we’re interested in fiction, non-fiction, and art that explores the impact of human or cultural migration, whether voluntary or forced, peaceful or forceful.
We are dedicated to diversity and elevating authors and stories of immigration and diaspora, as well as exploring the ramifications of colonization, and particularly encourage authors with personal experience of these themes to submit their stories.
