An anthology exploring the reality and metaphysics of work and writing, currently accepting essays, fictions and hybrid documents written at work and/or in conversation with the concept of work.
This is a broad topic for which I’m hoping to feature a wide range of forms, voices and perspectives, so there aren’t many stipulations, but I’m interested in work that explores the following themes in some way: how creative processes are shaped and influenced by the constraints of work, what it means to have to work, writing to make a living vs. writing to make art, the concept of “free time,” the idea of the “real job” vs. the reality of the real job, career and identity, money and mortality…etc.
