Gamut magazine is open to speculative fiction, so our non-fiction articles should keep that in mind. As far as content, we tend to lean toward the tragic and uncanny, exploring transgressive themes—the taboo, the emotional, global experiences, you name it. So, for example, we might be open to a travel piece, but it wouldn't be about where to eat and what hotels to book, but what the experience was like, or a particular angle. Think more Vice and less Travel + Leisure. We are also open to craft, genre, film, the arts—anything you think might be of interest to our readers.
