Stories must focus on climate change, though the form that takes in the story is open. Possible themes include but are not limited to: Localized Climate Futures – Stories set in Nashville or the Greater Nashville area, imagining future scenarios shaped by climate change. Speculative Solutions – Imagined solutions to issues such as water scarcity, urban heat islands, environmental justice, etc. Climate Mythologies – Reimagined mythology and folklore that address climate change, drawing from diverse cultural traditions. Eco-Psychological Narratives – Stories focused on the psychological and emotional dimensions of climate change, exploring themes such as anxiety, climate grief, and resilience.
