As an up-in-coming lit mag, we want to see diverse works about diverse experiences by diverse people. But only if your work is weird, plays with genre (or is genre-less), breaks the rules, and makes us stop and say, "wtf?" But in a good way. Curb those niceties and pull your artwork out between the cracks. BTWN wants what your typical lit mag rejects.
Before submitting to BTWN, please consider how/if your work is bending/blending/subverting genre.
