a haunting collection of tales inspired by cemeteries, forgotten hymns, phantom melodies, ghost cats and the music of life that lingers long after death.
We’re looking for gothic, macabre, paranormal, or melancholy tales that explore the eerie bond between music and the dead. Think:
A violinist cursed to play in a graveyard A choir of ghosts summoned by a forbidden hymn A music box that brings back the dead, but only when the town is in danger from something worse A lullaby passed down through generations with chilling consequences ?? Whether mournful or magical, surreal or suspenseful, your story should weave music into the bones of the tale.
Your story must feature a cat, a cemetery and a song (the more prevalent and central to the plot these three things are the better, but be creative with them!) Please note that if the three above pieces are not included your story will be instantly rejected Genres: Horror, gothic, dark fantasy, paranormal, magical realism, mystery, crime…pretty much anything goes, even sci-fi, high fantasy, post-apoc and various time periods!

It was always planned to be a limited-time project, such as a one-time anthology, and the limited-time submission window has ended.
The publisher has stated that they are permanently closed, or on hiatus with wording that makes it sound permanent.
The publication website is down in a way that appears to be permanent, and we haven't been able to find a new website for them.
The publication website is not down, but it appears to have been inactive for more than a year.
