The Drift & Dribble Miscellany showcases an eclectic range of voices, each experiencing the world in their own authentic way. We are especially interested in unique viewpoints and themes that challenge stereotypes. We publish stories, poems, essays, and dribbles (short form), and especially those works that capture the challenges and magnitude of inhabiting our complex human world and reveal it with objectivity and honesty. We welcome literary and experimental work, personal accounts, complex characters and surreal or witty takes from the cornucopia, and look for writing that is clear and intriguing in its depth or play. Most of all: we want work that is about something our readers care about. Let's see what you have.
Themes & Topics of Special Interest Complexity of the human experience
Unusual takes on everyday life
Culture, tribe and society
Nature and the environment
Alternate viewpoints and inner worlds
Experimental forms and voices
We want to learn from your non-fiction and prefer depth and a frank look at issues over a myopic view. And yes, it can be stranger than fiction.
