Homeplace is a place-based arts and literary publication exploring how location and memory shape who we are. We publish all types of art and writing on both physical and metaphorical spaces, highlighting topics such as architecture, climate, migration, domestic life, belonging, mental states, travel, landscapes, and home. Through this, we hope to discuss pressing societal themes such as identity, politics, and social trends.

Our mission is to create space for both young and emerging creatives to authentically share their creative processes and experiences through art, writing, and community. In our blog and print editions, we make a conscious effort to highlight the creative process behind each story, photo, and piece of artwork. We hope to pave the way for others to fulfill their creative goals and feel empowered to express themselves.
