Gothic Victorian horror stories. Must be set in England during the Victorian era. Think of the stories told in Penny Dreadfuls of the time such as Sweeney Todd and Spring Heeled Jack. Ghost stories such as the Women in Black are welcome. Characters from that period may be mentioned/used as long if they are in the public domain: ie. Frankenstein, Tom Sawyer, Professor Moriarty, Countess Bathory, the Pinkertons, etc. A quick google search will tell you if its ok to use, but generally speaking, you can base your story off the ORIGINAL tale, but not from any other/newer retellings that may not be public domain.

It was always planned to be a limited-time project, such as a one-time anthology, and the limited-time submission window has ended.
The publisher has stated that they are permanently closed, or on hiatus with wording that makes it sound permanent.
The publication website is down in a way that appears to be permanent, and we haven't been able to find a new website for them.
The publication website is not down, but it appears to have been inactive for more than a year.
