The press is always keen on previously unpublished works of science fiction, fantasy, dark fantasy, horror, and noir mystery with a tinge of otherworldliness. In regards to horror, we prefer psychological and strange to straight-up blood-drenched narratives. As for the other genres, we are not terribly rigorous in our definitions, nor our observation of the nominal boundaries of these categories. We prefer character-driven pieces but don't mind being kept up late due to a tightly wound, plot-driven book.
